Infiverse Technology (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates the mobile application FlixX: Discover Movie & Show (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.
FlixX is an information guide. It does not host or stream video content.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Email address when you sign in to create and manage your account.
- User Content (Watchlist)
- Guest mode: your watchlist is stored locally on your device only and is not sent to our servers.
- Signed-in users: your watchlist is synced and stored securely on our servers and linked to your account.
- App Usage & Diagnostics: Interactions, crash reports, device model, OS version for app performance and troubleshooting.
- Identifiers — Unique IDs such as your Firebase user ID (for signed-in accounts), device identifiers, and Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA)(used for ad personalization when you consent.).
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve core features of the App.
- Store and sync your watchlist across devices when signed in.
- Provide personalized content suggestions (when permitted).
- Display ads, measure performance, and limit ad frequency.
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse.
3. Advertising & Tracking
We use third‑party advertising services to show ads in the App:
- Google AdMob (Google LLC)
- Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms, Inc.)
These partners may use cookies or device identifiers (such as IDFA) to deliver and measure ads, and may use them for tracking and personalization. On iOS, you can control whether apps are allowed to track across apps and websites in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Even if you disable tracking, you may still see ads, but they may be less relevant.
4. Third‑Party APIs
FlixX uses the following APIs to display information:
- The Movie Database (TMDB) API – details, images, and metadata.
- JustWatch API – streaming availability by region/provider.
These services may provide images, trailers, or descriptions that could include mild mature themes, violence, or suggestive material. We do not control or modify third‑party content.
5) Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data in the following ways:
- Advertising Partners: As explained in Section 3, we work with Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network to deliver ads and measure performance. These partners may use identifiers such as the IDFA, with your consent.
- Analytics & Infrastructure: We use Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication, database, and crash reporting. Firebase processes limited information (e.g., email for sign-in, watchlist data for sync, and diagnostics) on our behalf to operate the App.
- Legal: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
6. Data Security
We use industry‑standard safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
7. Your Choices & Rights
- Access/Deletion: You can delete your account directly in the App by going to Settings > Delete Account. You may also request a copy of your account data or deletion by emailing infiverse.technology@gmail.com.
- Tracking & Ads: Manage tracking permissions in your iOS device under
Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
